La mauvaise qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019eau a \u00e9galement pes\u00e9 sur la population animale et la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation. En collaboration avec la population locale, les membres d\u2019ACC Trust ont entrepris d\u2019assainir et de renaturer la mare de Purania Talab. Ils ont cherch\u00e9 une solution durable pour embellir la mare et ses abords, et favoriser le retour des activit\u00e9s communautaires. Ils ont commenc\u00e9 par retirer la boue et cr\u00e9er une digue pour pr\u00e9venir l\u2019\u00e9rosion du sol. Des&nbsp;<em>ghats<\/em>(escaliers) am\u00e9nag\u00e9s de part et d\u2019autre permettent d\u00e9sormais d\u2019acc\u00e9der \u00e0 l\u2019eau en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aujourd\u2019hui, la mare de Purania Talab est \u00e0 nouveau au centre de la vie communautaire. Les habitants s\u2019y retrouvent pour se baigner, faire la lessive et c\u00e9l\u00e9brer de nombreuses f\u00eates et autres festivals.
